Sal Litvak, the Accidental Talmudist-Meaning of Life

Sal Litvak Podcast; Interesting people with Bob Brill

To say Sal Litvak is an interesting person is an understatement of all understatements. He is one of the most interesting people you might ever meet. Born in Santiago, Chile, he is a maker of hit feature films, an historian, a professor, a lawyer and an award winning maker of films. So why are we talking to him; his passion. That passion is as a Talmudist which he came upon by accident.

Litvak was five when he came to the United States in 1970 and spent his childhood around New York City. He went to Harvard and graduated with honors. He became a New York lawyer before finding another passion; the theater. So he moved on to UCLA where he went after a Film degree.

Then it was onto reading scripts for a major Talent Agency before breaking out as a film professor and then making two feature films. The most unique is the story about Abe Lincoln's body guard/ "Saving Lincoln."

Then he found his next passion; Jewish philosophy and it's where he now is taking that into the multi-media realm, blogs, live Face Book shows and well, you name it. Join us for a chat with Sal Litvak on Interesting People with Bob Brill.
